How to Connect Social Media to TouchConvert

To utilize the social media portion of TouchConvert, it is necessary that you connect to your social media networks. So, maybe you're wondering how do I connect my social media networks with TouchConvert? This how to guide covers all the steps on how to connect Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. We even go over how to connect your Google Analytics Account - which allows you to better understand your website data. 

 


Location: Settings > Connections

If you click on "Connections" on the right menu under settings you will be take to the screen that allows you to connect to your third party services such as Facebook, Google, Twitter and Linked In. As TouchConvert adds more connections to more services this is the place you can go to to connect to your third party services.

2. Login to your Facebook

You will be greeted to your facebook login.

  1. Type your username and password.
  2. Click Login at the bottom (You do not need to check-off "Keep me logged in").

3. Choosing the Correct Facebook Profile

Once you are logged into Facebook. You should see a dropdown with the option to pick your Facebook Profile. If you are a business you will want to consider having a Facebook company page rather than your "My main profile" page.  The reason for this is because if you want to allow other employees to post to Facebook it should be to the company page and not your own Facebook page. If you are a single business owner then you would want to just use your own wall.

  1. Select from the dropdown the Facebook profile you want TouchConvert to post to.
  2. Click "Save" to finish.

4. Facebook Success

Once you have selected your Facebook settings this screen will appear and you may close the window.

5. Connecting to Twitter

Location: Settings > Connections

Connecting to Twitter will be very similar to Facebook. Click the Twitter button, login and follow the prompts to connect.

6. Connecting to LinkedIn

Location: Settings > Connections

Connecting to LinkedIn will be very similar to Facebook. Click the LinkedIn button, login and follow the prompts to connect.

7. Connecting to Google Analytics

Location: Settings > Connections

Connecting to Google Analytics will be very similar to Facebook. Click the Google Analytics button, login and follow the prompts to connect.

Note: If you have more than one Google Analytics account make sure to choose the correct one from the prompts.
