What is Variable Data

Using variable data allows you to make your email message personal with special formatting using tags. Commonly used tags are:

  1. {:first_name:}
  2. {:last_name:}
  3. {:email:}
  4. {:phone:}

Example: If you're sending a mass email out to all of your subscribers, but want to use the readers' first names...

Hey {:first_name:},

Thought you might enjoy this blog article!

-Dan

The reader's name will automatically appear in their email message.
