How to Connect & Login to Google Analytics

Location: Admin > Settings > Connections

1. Click on the Google Analytics button. You will be taken to your Google Analytics login.

*Note: Make sure to select the correct Google Account if you have more than one.

2. Click "Save."

View Your Analytics

Location: Analytics > Google Analytics

1. Select the report type in the sidebar by clicking "Months," "Weeks," "Day of Week," or "Hour."

2. Filter the types of views by clicking through "Total," "Organic," "Paid," and "Referral" at the top of the page.

3. Use the dropdown to select the location you would like to view.

4. Use the "View More" button at the bottom of the page to view more data.

Keywords

Location: Analytics > Google Analytics > Keywords

1. Use the data pickers to select the period of time you would like to view.

2. Use the Filter dropdown to select the data you would like to measure.

3. When you are ready to view the Keywords report, click "Go."

Broken Links

Location: Analytics > SEO Reports

The Broken Links report will show you wear you have broken links on your website. Click on each broken link so that you can correct the URLs.

Broken Images

Location: Analytics > SEO Reports

The Broken Images report will show you wear you have broken images on your website. Click on each broken link so that you can correct the image(s).

Meta Descriptions

Location: Analytics > SEO Reports

The Meta Descriptions report will show you wear you are missing meta descriptions on your website. Click on each link so you can add meta descriptions.

*Note: Most popular content management systems allow you the ability to add in a meta description to your website. This can be an added benefit for a search engine like Google to understand what your website is made of in terms of content.

Meta Keywords

Location: Analytics > SEO Reports

The Meta Keywords report will show you wear you are missing meta keywords on your website. Click on each link so you can add missing keywords.

No Titles

The No Titles report will show you pages that don't have titles on them. Click on each link so you can add titles to those pages.

Short Titles

The Short Titles report will show you pages that don't have more than two words in the title. Click on each link to add longer titles to your pages.

*Note: Search engines weigh heavily on the title being description in terms of what the page actually is. Short titles do not benefit you.

Word Count

The Word Count report will show you pages that have word counts lower than 250 words per page. Click on each link to add more content to those pages to up your word count.

*Note: Make sure to have pages with at least 250 words.

Alt Tags

The Alt Tags report will show you which pages on your site are missing Alt Tags (attributes). Click on each link to add alt tags to your images.

*Note: If you feel that all of your images have alt tags, check your icons (social icons, logo, etc.) and make sure they al have alt tags on them.
